New ownership at vBSkinworks

Greetings to all my friends! I'm excited to announce to everyone today that I have completed a sale of vBSkinworks to a new owner. The new owner is Ryan, of Adminfusion fame, and is uniquely qualified to take vBSkinworks to great new heights. Ryan will continue the tradition we have developed here of outstanding skins and support and very affordable prices. I will continue to be here during the transition and to assist Ryan as he gets up to speed. In the meanwhile, I hope you all will give a big welcome to Ryan!

Glad to be here, and this just seems like an awesome opportunity. For those of you who don't know me, here's my little rundown. I was born in North Carolina and raised in Georgia. I graduated from The University of Georgia (GO DAWGS) last May and currently live in South Carolina.

I've been into computers and the internet for as long as I can remember. I started getting into forums in 2002, owned multiple forums, and founded AdminFusion in 2005 because I just couldn't get enough of these darn forums

...but, my partner and I at AdminFusion did decide to move onto new things, so we sold it about a year ago. I got into affiliate marketing and have been doing that ever since. Affiliate marketing is awesome and has treated me well, but that business is very volatile. I've been looking for something more stable that I would enjoy doing for a long time now, and when I saw that John was looking to pass on vBSkinworks, there's no way I could pass.

John has done an amazing job with vBSkinworks, and I know I've got some huge shoes to fill. The quality of his skins and customer service is the best out there in the vBulletin world, and I try to say that with no bias.

Oh man I was looking for this exact business opportunity and as to expand tech and hosting services. Darn it I missed out.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought "Nooooooooooooooooo!!!" While I will miss John as the owner, I am really excited to see who has taken over. If it had to happen, the best person has really stepped up and will do very well here. Ryan, it is great to see you on a common forum as me again.

You will do extremely well here if your past accomplishments are any indication.

I've also taken a few minutes to look through the previous customers here at vBS and was very pleased to see so many old friends and people I know.

I'll miss my friends here too, but I'm in complete agreement with you Mark, I couldn't have found a better person in Ryan to take this over! His fine reputation will do nothing but help this place grow and continue to be the top vb skin site on the web

I hope you can stick around John. Even if just as a regular member that visits once in awhile to offer advice and suggestions. You are to be commended for the exceptional work you have done here. I started my latest forum a year ago and I had so many options for where to buy a skin at. I continued to check this site out until I found the one that fit. That is why I will be buying another one in the near future.

Again, I hope to still see you around from time to time.
